Tell To Sell Harness the Power of Storytelling to Build Your Brand eBook Cindy Stagg

I loved this book! It was my boxing day read this year and I took so many notes! My biggest take-away was how important stories are in our lives. They influence how we see the world, a company or a brand. The author shows you how your unique story is something you can use to develop your brand. I never understood before what a large part stories play in our psychy and as such they are the single best tool for reaching customers. I found myself looking at all the things I could change in my business model to incorporate the knowledge from Ms Staggs book and can already see the value those changes will make. Did you know our brains value stories over anything else and that they engage every area of our brain? Super cool. Ms Staggs book is easy to read and presents you with many aspects of using stories to build your brand. She also talks about connecting with people and and how they don't connect with your successes but with your messes. Loved this book and will definitely be recommending it to all the entreprenaurs and business people I know.

Tell To Sell Harness the Power of Storytelling to Build Your Brand eBook Cindy Stagg Reviews

This is an awesome resource for entrepreneurs and small business owners. I love learning about how to improve my marketing strategy by seeing the examples from big companies like State Farm or AT&T

The author shows how story telling is such an important part of branding and then gives you specific strategies on how to start it in your business.

I get a lot of books on business on my Unlimited account, but I had to come back and buy this one so I can go back to it from time to time. This one is worth purchasing.
This is a book for creative entrepreneurs who are trying to get their brand recognized. Cindy Stagg highlights the importance of story-telling to build your brand. If you want to make money - tell a better story. The author gives a wide range of examples, from companies like AT&T, Nescafe, and State Farm Insurance, to show how a commercial can tell a story that aligns with the lives, hopes and dreams of customers. She also provides a detailed breakdown of what makes a great story - including tension, climax and resolution. The author also gives an excellent analysis of the way stories work psychologically to drive customers towards a sale. This is a great book for learning the art, and importance, of story-telling in business.
Tell To Sell by Cindy Stagg is a small book with a big message. Cindy does an excellent job expressing the importance of great storytelling for building a brand and having meaningful connections with your customers. I found it fascinating that more regions in our brain are activated by a story compared to information only. Her breakdown and tips on how to tell an engaging story are very helpful and ones I know I will use while building my brand. This is a great book for learning the art of storytelling not only to standout in business but also for making deeper personal connections. I highly recommend this book.
I found this book to be written in such an easy style, making it so interesting to read and even better, inspiring to follow. As someone who has very little experience of marketing, this book spoke on a level I could relate to, and I certainly intend to follow the authors advice on storytelling as a marketing strategy.
I found the advice to be relevant, with interesting personal stories, written in a manner that most people would understand. Sitting around the kitchen table, eating, socializing and making connections and building trust. This is an excellent book and I'd recommend it.
Cindy Stagg's book, Tell To Sell, provided some really great insights and tips on how to use storytelling to build your brand. I love the concept of the the Kitchen Table Experience and how it harnesses the power of storytelling around a table to figure out what a brand's story is all about. While reading her book, I definitely began to see how I can use this idea as I develop my own brand, and when I finished reading her book, it compelled me to start mapping out my own branding story.

That's why I recommend this book for anyone who knows they need storytelling to build their brand but just doesn't know where to start. Ms. Stagg's book will get you over the hump and get you moving with this important concept!
A quote from Cindy Stagg's book "Once the family was gathered around the table, something magical would happen." Her Kitchen Table Phenomenon became her springboard for becoming a story telling consultant. The author brings to life the value of sitting around a table with people which is a natural setting for spontaneous story telling. She illustrates that this concept is an effective tool to brand your business and sell your products and services, and it has proven to be an extremely successful method. This book was an enjoyable read. The author's personal experiences were enjoyable to read about as well. I suggest to anyone starting a business or even anyone with an existing business that they should read this book. It's also a gentle reminder to anyone, with or without a business, about the value of sitting around a table and sharing stories and memories with one another.
I've been telling (writing) stories and TV/radio/performance scripts for over 40 years. I knew it all -- and then I read this book and NOW I know it all! Well, I've added some practical and experience-proven techniques to my writing and telling. Thanks to Cindy for that! She writes in a very personable style, more like a story. But of course! TELL TO SELL.

It isn't the ART of storytelling she explains but the FUN of storytelling. It's about LIFE -- how to make your business, presentation, communication LIVEN UP! She calls it "The Kitchen Table Phenomenon" -- conversation flows as we visit over dinner or lunch, or just a cup of coffee. Your honestly told story helps to get you in alignment with your listener, and your listener with you. It's well worth the time and effort to learn the "Element of a Good Story." And practice.

After reading this book, I'm more enthusiastic than ever to become a better and more caring storyteller. Watch out, grandkids, here comes Grandpa with another story!
